Dejo un video de slalom c sin dudarlo  uno de los mejores que jamás se han hecho en esta disciplina. Está enteramente filmado en Rouen (la ciudad donde quemaron a Juana de Arco) y a mí me recuerda los 2 meses que pasé allí. Otra visita recomendada si algún día venís a Francia. Preved 5 minutos pues este video merece  ser visto hasta el final !! La música (“twenty years” de Placebo) tampoco está nada mal…

Je vous laisse une nouvelle vidéo de slalom.  Ceux qui s’y connaissent en roller l’auront déjà vu ainsi comme sa suite « Project 2 road to Rouen », par contre si vous ne le connaissez pas, je vous recommande vivement de prendre 5 minutes et de le regarder jusqu’au but, il déchire !!!

HOLA!!! hoy escribo un poco en español: No tengo mucho tiempo para actualizar porque aquí ya estamos en tiempo de exámenes, pero he querido dejar unas pocas imágenes de esta ciudad tan bonita en la que tengo la suerte de vivir. Aprovecho además para repetir algo que creo que  ya he dicho a todo el mundo, si alguna vez venís a Paris o tenéis a un familiar o a un amigo que viene, yo me ofrezco como guía* para hacer visitar la ciudad.

And finally, “la defense” : the youngest district of Paris and also Europe’s largest district specifically built for business. Maybe is not the nicest part of Paris but I recommend the visit.

Yesterday, we went to “la defense” and when we traversed the “boulevard de l’opera” we saw this three girls that felt sudenly in love with my friend . Well, I asked them why they were dressed like that and they answered that they did it every day!!! that was funny!!!

J’aime everything related to skate, and I’m always ready to try something new. This was my first day of ice-skating…         It isn’t very different from roller skating, but my ice-skates had a break in the front of the bladec I didn’t notice that, and I fall once when I was going quite fast.  This photo was taken just after I felt; if you look at it, you can see that I have a lot of snow on my clothes!!!  loool  

P.S: thankyou to Olivier that took me ice-skating for the first time. I hope we’ll repeat it soon!!

This new roller-video and the guy that appears in it  have become really famous between those who practice slalom and freestyle. Every rider likes sliding, and this video can be consider as a really really  good lesson !!!

The slides you’ll see here could seem easy at first sight…, but the easiest one appears to be almost impossible when you put your rollers on!!! 

P.S:  pay attention to the one that he does with the front wheels only (01min47s), no words, just amazing!!!

Part of my university has been blocked today as a way to protest against the reforms that the president Nicolas Sarkozy proposes for the university.

Nevertheless, I don’t think this situation is going to last very long, most of the students want to restart the classes and think that this measure is useless.

But this is not the first demonstration that takes place In Paris after the election. In “the Bastille square”for example, near 3000 people participated in a violent disturbance Sunday evening.

These days, in France, many people seems to have forgotten two of their principal values, liberty and fraternity, when talking about politics people gets really angry, they even shout and insult each other!

I prefer not to show my personal ideas about the question. Anyway I think everyone will agree c violence won’t solve any problem.

[06/05/2007] Astonished, we saw how two partisans of Sarkozy climbed this street lamp to get a better view of the president!!

                    

SARKOZY HAS BEEN ELECTED AS THE FUTURE* PRESIDENT OF THE FRENCH REPUBLIC  with 53% of votes. But not everybody got happy when they learned from this piece of news yesterday evening…

This 53% means that there is 47% of French who have lost in this sort of democratic game. What’s more, between those who have voted, no matter Sarkozy or Royale, there’s an invisible number of people that have chosen a candidate that they don’t actually like so much

c they felt obliged to make a choice in a country that doesn’t count blank ballot papers(votos en blanco).

When I realize this, I can’t help thinking that the problem is the Democracy itself but I cannot conceive a solution…

The first time I was at the Louvre was with the school when I was in secondary. I remember I didn’t like the Pyramid so much. But after living in Paris, I have learned to appreciate this crystalline Pyramid that was built in 1989 by Leoh Ming Pei as an entrance to this huge and fabulous museum.

One of the most common slalom features and the one which gives  name to this blog is the “crazy”. In the following video you can see 4 slalomers doing a crazy at the same time. The spot is a small wooden bridge near Notre dame cathedral.   Take a look !!
